Strangers Home Caravan Site
We at The Strangers are an adults only caravan park which is set on a 4 acre estate, situated within an area of outstanding natural beauty, perfect for those looking to explore and enjoy the Essex & Suffolk countryside. We welcome both Caravans & Motorhomes to pitch up on our site where they have full access to Electric hook up points, and we welcome guests to purchase one of our luxury static caravans on fully serviced pitches too. We also have both male and female, fully serviced shower and toilet facilities on site that are well maintained and clean.
We are ideally located to explore what this area has to offer! Based in in Bradfield, our park is the closest Caravan Park from Harwich Port and is on the rural outskirts of the North Essex & Suffolk border. You can visit some of the surrounding villages such as Dedham, Manningtree, and East Bergholt. Plus we are only 20 minutes away from Harwich and Colchester towns. We are also very close to some amazing attractions such as Bradfield Secret Beach (1 mile away), Mistley & Manningtree backwater which is famous for its swans (3 miles), and the award winning Colchester Zoo (12.8 miles). We are based right on the Essex Walk and are near Flatford Mill, which is famous for John Constables painting “The Haywain”.
Our renowned public house is now run as a bar/eatery and is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes for roast dinners. We only use fresh, locally sourced meats and produce in our meals, and we have vegetarian options too and a selection of desserts.
