Mount View Caravan & Camping Park
We at Mount View Caravan & Camping Park are welcoming all to come and stay at our picturesque park located on the outskirts of the village of Abington, close to the River Clyde. Our pet friendly site has a variety of accommodation options available from our touring section where we have both hard and soft pitches available for caravans, motorhomes, camper vans and tents, plus we also have an area dedicated for those looking to stay in one of our static caravans. We are ideally located for our guests to visit some great local attractions and cities including: Glasgow, Edinburgh, & the Solway Firth (60 mins away), Dumfries (45 mins away), Peebles, Moffat & Lanark (30 mins away), Biggar (20 mins away) and we are only 5 minutes drive away from Junction 13 off the M74.
We are also a great place for those who love cycling and walking. The surrounding lush countryside is completely unspoilt and is perfect for bird and wildlife watching. There are Golf courses at nearby Leadhills and we have fishing available too on the River Clyde, with some fishing lakes also nearby in Moffat & Biggar.
Our touring site has electric and aerial hook ups for campers, and our pitches are surrounded by generous grassy areas, with trees breaking up the space. We have two grass sections designated for tents too with picnic benches. You can enjoy views of the Clyde Valley and surrounding hills whilst you sit back and relax on your peaceful stay. We have some amazing facilities on site too including: a centrally heated toilet block, with a disabled/family room, a playground for children, a kitchen area, laundrette and chemical emptying facility. All the showers and hair driers are free of charge and we have bottled gas available.
