Riddings Wood Holiday Park is a peaceful escape nestled within 11 acres of tranquil woodland in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. Just a short drive from the Peak District, the park offers the perfect setting for walking, climbing, cycling, bird watching, and fishing holidays. While surrounded by nature, we’re also conveniently located with quick access to Derby, Nottingham, and Mansfield—offering the ideal blend of seclusion and connectivity.

Our accommodation includes seven boutique lodges and six premium lodges, all fully self-contained and featuring private hot tubs, outdoor seating areas, and BBQs. The lodges sleep either four or six guests, making them perfect for couples, families, and small groups looking for comfort and relaxation in a woodland setting.

For those bringing their own caravan, motorhome, or tent, the touring park provides a variety of pitch options. We offer 26 hardstanding pitches—10 of which are fully serviced with water, grey waste disposal, and 16 Amp electric hook-up points, and 16 standard hardstanding pitches with 16 Amp electric. Electricity is pre-loaded at £6 per night, with top-ups available from the office between 9AM and 5PM. Additionally, we offer 45 grass pitches with 10 Amp electric hook-up, and all pitches include a grass area suitable for awnings. Caravan rallies are also welcome at certain times of the year with prior booking.

Guests have access to a luxury amenities block featuring modern showers and toilets, including accessible facilities, along with a utility room for laundry and pot-washing. Families can enjoy our children’s play area, and all shared facilities are cleaned and maintained to high standards.

Please note that we do not accept walk-in arrivals—bookings must be made in advance. Gas and electric sales are available during office hours only. Our lodges remain unaffected by shared facility use, and hot tubs are regularly treated to maintain the highest recommended chlorine levels for your comfort and safety.

We look forward to seeing guests old and new, all units are welcome, tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans on the touring park, however, we do not accept commercial, sign written vehicles on the touring park.
