Outney Meadow Caravan Park
Outney Meadow is a family-run campsite set in a beautiful eight-acre parkland by the River Waveney in Suffolk’s Waveney Valley, just outside the market town of Bungay. Surrounded by countryside, it’s an ideal base for exploring East Anglia, with the Suffolk coast, North Norfolk, and Norwich all within easy reach. Open from March to October, the site welcomes tents, motorhomes, and caravans, offering a mix of electric and non-electric hook-up pitches. The grassy camping area is dotted with trees, providing both shade and shelter, and sits right beside the river – perfect for scenic walks, birdwatching, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Well-behaved dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead while on site. There are clearly marked dog-walking routes on the adjacent common, making it easy for guests to enjoy the outdoors with their pets.
