Alston Farm Camping & Caravan Site
We at Alston Farm Camping & Caravan Site are based on a 12 acre plot situated in a quiet sheltered and secluded valley adjoining the Salcombe estuary, amongst some of Devon’s picturesque countryside. The area provides ideal habitats for numerous species of birds and an abundance of wildlife which is perfect for all the bird watchers & animal lovers out there. The site itself is well sheltered and protected by bordering woodland and hedges.
We welcome tents, touring caravans & motorhomes, and for those who wish to stay in a nice, relaxing space, we have a couple of static caravans available for hire too. We have level accommodation for all touring vans, and for tents, we have level but slightly sloping and terraced areas. There are ample toilet blocks, hot showers, hot water in our wash hand basins and dish washing sinks we have hair dryers available, and laundry equipment on site too.
We have a large play area for children to play on, with ample space for ball games etc. We have a dog walking area as well for those who wish to bring there four legged friends along. There are water taps well positioned throughout the site and during high season, we have an extra adjoining field available for overflow camping. As an added bonus we stock Calor and Camping gas, and on site, there is a small shop which is open during busy periods.
We have two luxury static caravans available to hire on a weekly basis. Our larger model – No. 70 – is a stylish, modern 6 berth static which is light and spacious, and has a main ensuite double bedroom, a twin room (that can be made into a double if needed) and a double pull out sofa bed within the living room. Our smaller static – No.77 – has an open plan spacious living dining area and can cater up to six people within its main double bedroom, twin room and double pull out sofa bed in the living room.
