Dan’s Meadow

Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of Suffolk, bordered by the picturesque River Fynn. The site is situated at the end of tree lined secure driveway leading to our 4.5 acres of meadowland. There is so much to see and do, with historical sites, beautiful beaches, quaint riverside towns all within a short distance either by car or if you prefer, take some local walks. We accept well behaved humans with their pets and are only approximately 150 yards away from the Red Lion who also accept Pets. Make time during your visit to visit the riverside town of Woodbridge where the Viking ship discovered at nearby Sutton Hoo is being rebuilt using all original methods and materials. Stop at any of the local cafés for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink.

We have two areas for caravans and motor homes, the CS site which is for members of the Camping and Caravanning Club with five pitches including electric and TV hook Up, quality showers and toilet suites with Accessible features and Baby Changing facilities. A Utility room is also available for campers in Tents, with sink unit with hot and cold water, Microwave Oven, and a large Fridge/Freezer.

To cater for those who are not members of the CCC we have our meadow side pitches offering views across our 4.5 acres of meadowland which is also available for recreation purposes. There are six pitches with Electric Hook Up, separate toilets and showers and a washing up area.

Shepherds Huts, Glamping Pod with Toilet and Shower facilities compliment the on field personal camping if required. Bell Tents can be hired in various forms.

We can also cater for Caravan Rallies and have an on-site Wedding Venue catering for small intimate weddings in our on-site hall for up to 110 people or tipi’s for larger events. Licenced for Wedding Ceremonies which can be conducted beside our river or inside our hall.
