Summerhill Farm
We at Summerhill Farm are picturesque campsite based on a working farm located in the beautiful River Dart Valley, which is surrounded by rolling hills and close to the town of Ashburton on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. We are also close to the main A38 also known as the “Devon Expressway”.
Our ideal location means that our campsite makes an ideal base for your perfect family holiday, with the wild splendour of Dartmoor with it’s hiking, rivers and scenic views right on our doorstep and enjoying the easy access to the South Devon Coast with Theme Parks, Zoos, Beaches and many other attractions all within a short car journey away. Also right next door to us is The River Dart Country Park which is for fun for family days out with other attractions just a short journey away.
Our large camping field offers plenty of room for both tents and tourers and has the added bonus of a limited number of electricity hook up points (deposit required), a clean purpose-built toilet and shower block, including facilities for the disabled, recycling bins, laundry facilities as well as fresh water and waste disposal. The Field itself is completely open plan with no marked pitches. This allows flexibility for visitors staying with us to set up as they please, and for groups to camp together.
If however you fancy trying something a little different then why not try out our new Shepherds Hut for an instant “home away from home”! It sleeps 2 people and is very tastefully decorated inside.
