With 6 Lodges and 6 Premium lodges, all with private hot tubs and a touring park for camping and caravanning set in 11 acres of woodland in the tranquil and idyllic Derbyshire countryside, offering a quiet and relaxing retreat.

Just a short distance from the Peak District, our park is the perfect location for enjoying walking, climbing, cycling, bird watching and fishing holidays. Riddings Wood offers the best of both worlds, being peacefully located in the countryside but with quick and easy access from the park to Derby, Nottingham and Mansfield.

The park has 26 hard standing pitches – 10 Fully serviced, including water and a grey waste point and 16 standard hard standing pitches, both with 16 Amp electric meters. These are pre-loaded with £6 electric per night for the duration of stay, units using more than this can purchase additional electricity from the office between 9AM and 5PM. All pitches offer a grass area for awnings. 45 Grass pitches with 10 Amp electric hook-up points are also available for touring and camping. There is a luxury amenities block with showers and toilets including disabled facilities and a utility room with washing and laundry facilities. The park can also cater for caravan rallies at certain times of the year.

To reassure lodge guests, tourers and campers that we are a ‘Coronavirus Safe’ environment, to enjoy holidays with significantly less risk, increased social distancing and to reduce the chances of the virus spreading, we will be opening with the following changes, also in-line with government criteria and guidance. All indoor communal areas and all shared facilities, toilets, showers, laundry and pot wash room provided. The 4 berth lodges and 6 berth premium lodges, all with private hot tubs, are completely self-contained and remain unaffected. The chlorine levels in the hot tubs will also be maintained at the highest recommended levels.

Any bookings with an outstanding balance will not be due until arrival. We do not accept arrivals that have not been pre-booked, ‘walk-in’s’. Gas and electric sales are strictly between 9AM to 5PM.

All outdoor areas across the park, including the playground, will remain open and the rules are unchanged. We would still encourage people to stress to everyone in their group the importance of social distancing. We all know the risk to our families has not gone away, it’s not rules that make the difference it’s how we all behave.

We look forward to seeing guests old and new, all units are welcome, tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans on the touring park, however, we do not accept commercial, sign written vehicles on the touring park.
