Henki Pod
We at Henki Pod are offering customisable teardrop caravans which turn heads with their retro feel and contemporary twist. They are all British made and created to a high standard using our cabinet making, sister business in the heart of North Yorkshire. We have three standard models available or you can completely customise your own! The interior in each model varies slightly. We have the ‘Pure’ which is essentially the bedroom pod, the ‘Impulse’ which is an upgrade from the Pure with additional comforts such as a gas connection point, rear kitchen cabinetry, sectional upholstery for bed or seating and additional storage; and we have the ‘Nomad’, which is our top of the range pod with double-glazed windows, alloy wheels, reading lights, rear kitchen cabinetry and much more. We also have some pre-loved models.
Believe us, I know what you are thinking…they are tiny! It may surprise you to know that our Henkipods are 6ft 6 and you can easily fit into them and have ample space. It’s like a tardis inside! Even a Fiat 500 can legally tow our IVA inspected Henkipods.
Henkipod Features:
- They have aluminium porthole windows, either single or double glazed, with openers and two-way lockable night latch.
- They have rear lights as standard or LED (depending on model).
- The raised sections on the body work can be painted in different colours as a customable extra.
- The pods have external gas outlets so you can use camping stoves and/or a gas BBQ.
- They have 10 inch steel wheels or alloy wheels (depending on model or as an optional extra).
- We colour match the roof vent in order for essential ventilation to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning.
- They have a lockable side door with aluminium porthole window.
- All fittings are made from quality stainless steel so that they don’t rust.
- They have a colour matched front locker that houses the gas bottles plus they come with lockable additional storage, and a drop-down footwell.
- Dependent on model, it comes with a 240 volt electric hook-up.
- The interiors are made from birch-ply either natural or painted, plus there are customisable interior options.
- There is a choice of fabric and upholstery options.
- Depending on model, you get appliance options and tech options.
