Glentress Forest Lodges
Nestled adjacent to the world famous 7stanes mountain bike trails at Glentress Forest in the Scottish Borders, we at Glentress Forest Lodges are one of the most unique and best mountain bike holiday and short break locations in Scotland. Not only are we ideally located for mountain biking but also for hill walking, pony trekking and is just a stones throw away from ‘GoApe’ an adventurer’s paradise, which is just a 5 minute walk up the track.
Our renowned timber frame Pods are arranged in small clusters in the park with vehicle access to each area. They are available to rent on per night basis and can sleep 3 people in comfort and up to 5 people if needed. We also have camping and motorhome pitches available onsite, some with electric hookups. Plus we now offer Bell tents, providing a more luxurious and comfortable option for those looking to elevate their camping experience. There’s no better way to experience Glentress and the surrounding area than staying here with us!
The Pods give guests the ultimate camping experience! They are ideal low cost accommodation units and a great alternative to camping under canvas.They are fully serviced with heating, light and a small fridge. They have two roof lights and one opening window, which lets in a lot of natural light and ventilation, plus they are fully insulated to provide a warm, cosy environment ideal for all year round use. Each Pod also comes complete with a picnic table, BBQ, and camp fire with firewood. Disposable BBQs are available too if you prefer which you can buy from reception.
We also have a reception area with toilet and shower block, plus a drying room, a communal kitchen and secure bike storage.
