Broomfield Holiday Park
Situated on the banks of picturesque Lochbroom in the Northwest Highland town of Ullapool, Broomfield Holiday Park was established over 40 years ago by the same local family that run the park today.
Broomfield is the only caravan and camping park in Ullapool and is open from April to October each year except for a week in mid-September for the Loopallu Festival. The site is on 12 acres of level grass, which has beautiful vistas over Lochbroom and the Summer Isles, and is a perfect point from which to explore this most stunning part of Scotland. As testament to its outstanding natural beauty, the park itself has been made a conservation area to protect the land and its incomparable views.
Broomfield is only minutes away from the village-front and there are many shops, bars and restaurants along the way. The site itself is well maintained and serviced and has a number of facility blocks containing:
- toilet facilities
- wash basins with hot and cold water
- shaving points
- coin operated showers
- hand dryers
- chemical toilet waste disposal
- launderette with washing machines and tumble dryers
- water standpipes
- dish washing for campers
The site also has a play area for children, power hook-ups for touring caravans and even ‘Mosquito Magnet Pro’ machines to keep the dreaded midges at bay!
Broomfield Holiday Park caters for all kinds of campers from backpackers to full touring clubs and every effort is made to meet all the various needs the different campers may have.
